The Hellboy figures were in Sam Goody. They had all of them there. I didn't care for the way they were articulated. I also don't know the story behind them. I picked Sammuel because, well, it was the only one I liked. Not sure if I'll open him at this time. Maybe if I find another?

Edit, the biggest turnoff was the way the legs attach to the body. I hate that Marvel Legends kind of look to it.

I'm not a big fan of balljointed legs either. Although the pics I've seen of Hellboy makes it look like they did a good job with them on him. I think I might have to order a Hellboy set, although I've never read the comic before. Guess I'm just a fuckin toy addict. [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]

I'm holding out for at least 50% on that Unreal figure...$14.99 retail was insane. How do you like it (quality/articulation)?

I haven't seen the Hellboy figures yet, but since I'm not familiar with the comic I highly doubt I'll buy these (unless I really like the movie).

When I saw this pic, the open mouth immediately reminded me of Mutations Spawn, which I did not care for.

The articulation/quality is fine. 25% off made it cost around $11.00. I wouldn't pay more than that. It was the only one of the series that they had. It's very offbeat, I really like the head, and the weapon. I'm not that thrilled with the "thunder thighs" it has. I can see myself decapitating it and putting its head on another figure. For now, I'm leaving him intact.

Sammael, well, he's kind of quirky too. He's got one hell of a nutsack, or whatever you want to call that thing in his crotch area. [img]wink.gif[/img]

That Sammael figure is pretty nice. I picked up the hellboy fig with corpse last night. Also saw all the other figs and the 18" Hellboy at Suncoast. Havn't decided if I'll buy them all...??
